Allen Fuller - Managing Partner
Drawing upon a range of experience in project management and marketing communications, Allen Fuller founded Flat Creek to help clients explore technology and its impact on how they communicate and work.
Since starting Flat Creek, Allen has led the company to build a client portfolio across eight states and three continents. While project details vary, Allen inevitably integrates technology to communicate more effectively, either internally to the team or with broad audiences.
Prior to starting Flat Creek, Allen was a senior account executive in the Interactive practice group of Fleishman-Hillard, an international communication firm. There he managed a range of projects for various clients - including the Library of Congress, Washington Grantmakers, the Better Sleep Council, the Department of Homeland Security, Cingular Wireless, and the Propane Council - using a wide range of specialists and subcontractors.
Allen previously served as the press secretary for U.S. Representative Bob Beauprez (R-CO) where he started up the Congressman’s press operations in Washington and Colorado, creating a broad multi-channel communications strategy and several successful communications programs that included a new website and constituent e-newsletter, a broad media initiative surrounding the Congressman’s fact-finding mission to Iraq and a crisis management operation surrounding passenger wait times at Denver International Airport. Allen was the communications and research director for Rep. Beauprez’s successful 2002 campaign, the most competitive U.S. House race in the country that cycle. Mr. Beauprez won the race by only 121 votes.
Earlier in the 2002 election cycle, he was the press secretary for the Mark Norris for Congress campaign (TN-7) where he worked with Norris, the current Tennessee State Senate Majority Leader, to develop an online and offline press strategy that covered everything from print and TV in three media markets to weekly papers in 14 rural counties.
Allen previously served as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) where he analyzed issues including terrorism, budget, commerce, foreign relations, judiciary and education. Mr. Fuller graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama with a degree in Communications and holds a Masters degree from Alabama in Marketing with a concentration in eCommerce.
